My Final thoughts (Software evaluation)

This software is definitely not indicated to beginner. That is because it is really meticulous and require an amount of basic knowledge of networking and its tools to get it working. The software itself is too have and overload the system pretty easy.

I have spent over two weeks trying to work with this software; however, besides the software crash all the time I could not get my head around some of its command lines which were supposed to be identical to Cisco, but they were not. That is not o speak how hard is to telnet with the switches/routers I had to spend over two days of nosing around to find out that I would have to simulate a separate computer just to access the command line for the devices.

Even thou the topography looks really neat is not really functional as the software establish all the connections without the user configure it, and that defeats the propose of training site of the program. Comparing with my pst experience with Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3 is far from being a training. Environment. This software may be efficient to a Profesional but not for a student.
