Do you know what cookies are? Why do they do? Why are they being used? How do they work? We will be answering all those questions through this post. However, we will not be going too in-depth as the objective of this post is not to discuss HTTP cookies but to give a general knowledge of what they are.
To start, let's talk about what are cookies. Cookies are strings of coding that will store the user information so it can give continuity to user experience in case the user leaves the web page or reload.
However, cookies initial idea was only store data of shopping from the user on a specific website so it would not overload the server but cookies have been converted to focus advertising, and that is because they have created the "new cookie" the third part cookie where stores all the user viewed, bought and searched items. These third-party cookies will gather information from the user, process it and modify advertisements that they see so they see what they are looking for.
